Project Description
Misnak International DWC LLC engaged Sealion's Basra branch to support port crane unloading operations at Umm Qasr Port — one of Iraq's principal deep-water commercial ports and the primary gateway for bulk cargo imports. The project involved the operational support and coordination of port crane unloading activities for a cargo consignment that required specialized handling due to the nature of the equipment and the port's operational constraints at the time. Sealion's Basra team, drawing on their established relationships with Umm Qasr Port Authority and the General Company for Ports of Iraq, provided port representation, cargo supervision, crane coordination, and documentation support to ensure the unloading operation was completed safely, efficiently, and within the vessel's allowed berth time. The project demonstrated Sealion's ability to operate seamlessly from its Basra office and deliver reliable marine and port services in Iraq's complex port environment.
